OUR FOUNDER

MANISH MALHOTRA

Manish Malhotra's prolific career spanning over 30 years has seen him redefine fashion as a couturier, costume stylist, entrepreneur, and revivalist. Manish began his career as a model, but his passion for movies and fashion soon led him to costume design.

Brand Vision / 2020

Fashion, in my opinion, is an all-encompassing aesthetic that includes design, styling, and cosmetics. My passion for film allowed me to launch a brand while concurrently creating iconic looks for the big screen.

Indian fashion has evolved immensely in the last 10 years. We have seen a lot more representation of India on the global ramp. It’s beautiful because this has led to a shift in perspective; people across the world now actively seek Indian labels for occasions big and small.

Filmfare Award

At the heart of it all, I am still a couturier but I like to broaden my horizons. I’ve grown up around the world of fashion and beauty, so I think it’s my turf. But whether its couture, beauty, or jewellery, I enjoy it all thoroughly.
