The place is sanctified by the visits of Sri Ramakrishna.
My Master would go to a Pariah and ask to be allowed to clean his house. By birth, the Brahmin stands for holiness, and the Pariah for the very reverse.The Pariah would not permit it ; so in the dead of night , when all were sleeping, Ramakrishna would enter the house. He had long hair, and with his hair he would wipe the place, saying, "...make me feel that I am even lower than the Pariah." - from 'My Master' by Swami Vivekananda. This incident, which took place at a pariah's house, was a Silent Revolution to remove caste system.
This holy place was donated to Sri Sarada Math, Dakshineswar, where the Math authorities started an Educational and Cultural wing, 'Sri Sarada Math - Rasik Bhita' to impart vocational and technical education to the girl students only, with a view to develop their personality combining modernity with tradition.
Rasik Bhita conducts certificate courses in Computer Programming & Application, Communicative English & Soft Skills as well as Value Education classes, all on a non-profit basis.

This is the annual magazine of Sri Sarada Math, Rasik Bhita. The magazine is formally released every year on the occasion of the annual day celebration. Each year, the magazine explores a new theme.

On 15th March 2020, Sister Nivedita's Museum will be inaugurated.
" In 2019 I took admission at Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita in Ms Office and Communicative English ( Beginners' level). At this institution the teaching process was really appreciable and all the teachers were very helpful and this encouraged me to do the next course. Then I took admission in Advanced Ms Office and communicative English (Pre Intermediate level). Due to the pandemic situation we had to go online and the online teaching process was also very good. All the teachers were always there for us in every confusion. I also completed M-junction course at free of cost. In the meantime Rasik Bhita informed me of a job vacancy in Serampore Vivid Pvt. Ltd. for the post of assistant HR. I was selected and got appointed there in the month of June. I am really grateful to everyone there.

- Swarnita Roy" My father is a taxi driver and my mother is a housewife. In the hope of getting a job, I had applied to Kamarhati Municipality, to enroll myself in a course. In 2019 I got the opportunity to do a course at Sri Sarada Math, Rasik Bhita. We could do our classes till February 2020 but due to the lockdown, it was not physically possible to go to Rasik Bhita to attend classes. But the full course was completed online. All the respected teachers helped us and I was able to complete the course. Formal exams were held on 28/12/20. I had taken admission in the course in the hope of getting a job and due to the lockdown the necessity was more acute. Rasik Bhita sent me for an interview and I was selected for the job. At present I am working with Futuregrowth Infotech. I am very pleased to work here.
