Prof. Siddartha Sen, of the Trinity College, Dublin visited SriSarada Math-Rasik Bhita to talk to the students and increase their interest in mathematics. He is a theoretical physicist who has authored a book on mathematics education and learning.

Rasik Bhita students enthusiastically participated in a colourful procession organized by Sri Sarada Math consisting of nearly 2000 students heralding the year long 150th birth anniversary celebration of Swami Vivekananda. After the procession, Vedic chanting by Rasik Bhita students initiated.

The place is sanctified by the visits of Sri Ramakrishna.This holy place was donated to Sri Sarada Math, Dakshineswar, where the Math authorities started an Educational & Cultural wing, 'Sri Sarada Math - Rasik Bhita' to impart vocational and technical education to the girl students only, with a view to develop their personality combining modernity with tradition.
