Sant Kabir Das was born in Uttar Pradesh to Muslim parentages. He showed interest in spirituality at an early age and called himself as a child of Lord Rama and Lord Allah. He was not interested in spiritual discernments. The great poet respected all the religions of his time equally. The Bhakti movement was highly influenced by his works. A few of his renowned writings consist of Anurag Sagar, Kabir Granthawali, Bijak, Sakhi Granth etc. He established a spiritual community called 'Kabir Panth.' Today, this community has a vast number of followers.
